About LVLovebugs

Our Story

We are a small Tica and GCCF registered hobby breeder originally from the south now based in the North West in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales not far from the historic market town of Settle. With a huge passion for the Maine Coon breed, their loyal, friendly and often referred to as dog like nature means the moment you meet them you fall in love. Since we imported our first queen from Russia in 2021 we have been dedicated to breeding healthy and happy Mainecoons for families to enjoy.

Our Breeding Process

We take great pride in our breeding process, which starts with carefully selecting our breeding pairs. We only breed Mainecoons that meet our high standards for health, and temperament. Our Mainecoons pairings are all tested for the 3 most common inherited genetic diseases HCM, PKDef, and SMA and if required some may have had further tests for blood type and dilute and PKD1 etc.
